Quite some time back, I was in US for few weeks in Pittsburgh. I had learned from my friends that Radhanath Swami was in Chicago and would be readily available. I somehow managed to get the number of the place in Chicago where he was staying. And early in the morning I called him. I was ignorant that US had 3 time zones and I was calling him at an unearthly hour.
I heard a groggy voice and immediately requested for Radhanath Swami, to which the response was “Speaking”. I immediately offered my respects and then for the next 5 minutes in a very polite and fatherly voice, Radhanath Swami spoke to me, praising me and offering very lovingly, kind and instructive words.
After a few weeks when I met Radhanath Swami back in Mumbai, I promptly told him that I had called him in US. He said “Oh…. It was you”. He apologized and said that he was heavily medicated on antibiotics and may not have been very attentive.
I was shocked!!! Here is a person who was disturbed in the middle of the night and was heavily medicated and sick, and yet his love and kindness was the same. There was no difference in his dealings and gentleness when he is fully conscious or heavily medicated and disturbed in the middle of the night.
I cannot think of anyone, even in own family who would have been so loving and kind even when heavily sick and disturbed in the middle of the night.

Radhanath Swami is an ideal model of a true spiritualist or a sadhu. One of the natural qualities of such a sadhu is that He is an instrument of compassion for fallen souls like me. By this incident, Radhanath Swami inspires me to be receptive to His mercy, flowing down from Krishna.
Sorry, but I am guessing Radhanath Swami has been extremely generous with you dear Manish. But of course, this is Radhanath Swami’s age old virtue, which we saw in his book. Thank you!
This experience u had shows a facet of maharaj’s personality which shows extreme tolerance and compassion. I am convincedthat he loves us more than we can ever love him.
When a person’s heart is saturated with love , he can never be disturbed in any condition of life.
radhanath maharaj is teching us by his example how to be tollerant ” taror api sahishuna” always give respect to others and never aspect any in return even in a very sick time maharaj is concious of every little thing “amanaina mana dena ” HH Radhanath Maharaj ki jai jai …..

Radhanath Swami is perfect example of Walk the Talk. He displays us by his own personal example the real purport of word compassion.
Maharaj’s actions always make us learn great things. For me its unbelievable to be that tolerant when I am sick and sleepy.
I too had similar experience with Radhanath Swami where in after 3 months of our first meeting, he recognized me and left me overwhelmed by his kindness:)

HH Radhanath Swami is a perfect example of being the most perfect gentlemen in Today’s world. I can just aspire to develop a tinge of the oceanic amount of qualities he has and attitude he demonstrates towards others.
Radhanath Swami has this amazing quality of being incredibly kind and compassionate to anyone at any time. He always puts himself in the other person’s shoes, and so always seems to know the state of mind of the other person, thus putting him completely at ease.

Its a lesson for me as many students and patients wake me up in the night and sometimes I do get irritated..So much to learn from Maharajs stable behaviour
true example of a person transcendental to ahar,nidra,bhaya &maithun.very rare ,many can preach but to practice ,one needs to take 100% shelter of the Supreme,Maharaj shows by his examples.

This incident is a fine example. Maharaj always walks his talk.
Maharaj has set very high standards. Our lives will be successful even if we are able to follow his 1 percent instructions.

I always found Maharaj’s face glowing, smiling and peace. Maharaj is all attractive, whoever approaches him would like to become his disciple. and one will get lot to learn from maharaj.
Radhanath Swami is very tolerant and kind.He has the compassion of a sadhu and the love of a mother.
He is more tolerant and loving than a father is to his children.

Through this process he is even willing to take great pain on behalf of Krishna to help the suffering souls.
