Cooped up in a war ridden ambience, my heart yearned for an escape: perhaps my parents loved me, but their fights at home had made home a warring zone and I was like a captive civilian. Finally, I found my escape in drugs, alcohol and sex.
But once free, I felt like a fugitive, and my heart yearned all the more—now for the shelter of a real home. And I found that shelter when I stumbled upon the Radha Gopinath Community. It became my newly found home, my real home. Radhanath Swami became like my affectionate father. His sweet words, sweeter than any I had heard before, healed my broken heart.

When I read this, the first thing that came to my mind is that if a child hurts due to something, then mother suffers more than that child and tries to do something somehow or other takes every chance to get rid off that pain for her child. In the same way, H.H.Radhanath Swami shows his natural affection and compassion towards all to get rid off the sufferings of this material world. I am waiting for a moment to come in my life which showers me with the association of Maharaj. Thank you so much Maharaj.

But under the care and guidance of Radhanath Swami his followers have created a community which serves relentlessly, to not only overcome common problems but in giving a realistic approach to transcend the universal problems of Birth, old age, disease & death.

Srila Prabhupada, the worshippable Guru of Radhanath Swami, often said of his life’s achievement of giving spiritual shelter to the wolrd that “I have built a home in which the whole world can live”. Radhanath Swami has spent his entire life trying to make Radha Gopinath Temple worthy of Srila Prabhupada’s words. He has succeeded beyond anyone’s imagination.
