What’s really impressive about the Radha Gopinath Temple is its non-fanatic spiritual community. I am a follower of a spiritual path with spiritual practices different from those followed by the community. Yet, in the past twelve years, though I pay daily visits to the temple, never have I come across anyone there with a condescending attitude towards me. They respect me for what I am.
And Radhanath Swami, their leader, goes a step ahead: he loves me for what I am. In his own words, “Rajeev, even if you ever leave me, I will never leave you.”
This is so true. I remember one of the quotes of Radhanath Swami.
He said ” To represent God means to represent His affection for the people of this world “
Its so wonderful to be in a place where everyone is loved and encouraged on their Spiritual path. There may be differences in the details, however the goal is the same.
Even in community following the same principles there will be difference because we are all individual humans.
Radhanath Swami’s loving exchange that “Rajeev, even if you ever leave me, I will never leave you” has touched my heart. This shows the compassion of a true spiritualist. He loves everyone without expecting anything in return. Radhanath Swami is a true embodiment of this quality
